Emily Long is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and certified Thanatologist. Anchored in Hope is Emily’s therapy practice and she specializes in grief counseling, working with a wide variety of clients from all ages and backgrounds. She completed her first master’s degree in Thanatology from Hood College in 2012 and her second in counseling education from Palm Beach Atlantic in 2017. In her spare time, Emily attempts to keep up with her teenage son and loves cheering him on at his soccer games. Baking with her friends at Crumbl has become a necessary outlet for self- care, and her family now depends on it. She also finds peace and contentment spending time
with her partner walking their hyper puppy, traveling to new places, listening to reggae music, and sitting by the water.
